Horizons Holistic Health Clinic’s Story
Meet Dr. Kyle and Dr. Michelle licensed naturopathic doctors and owners of Horizons Holistic Health Clinic here in Victoria BC.
Before opening their own clinic, Kyle and Michelle were roommates studying at the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. Michelle always had a dream of opening her own clinic in her hometown and figured if she could survive 2 years of being roommates with Kyle, they could survive working in a clinic together.
They opened their doors to the public in October 2016 in University Heights Mall and have since helped over 200 islanders get back to a pain-free life. If one thing really stood out to us while we were interviewing them, it was how great they work together, each one complementing the other.
Each doctor has a very different set of skills, strengths, and backgrounds which makes them a very strong team.
I’ll be the first to say, they are not your typical doctors! They take the time to educate their patients on what is actually going on in their body and what they can do about it naturally and safely. In fact, there are many ways in which they can help.
One of the ways they have helped the most patients is with pain conditions using cold laser therapy. It is ideal for all types of chronic or acute inflammatory conditions of the skin, joints, ligaments, tendons, and bones. The stories they told us about the patients they’ve treated in only a few appointments that were otherwise suffering for years, running around in pain and dealing with the depression that followed.
