Meet Rachel, owner-operator of Pacific Wild Shores, a property management company in Victoria, BC.

Rachel’s cleaning business started over seven years ago encompassing both residential and vacation rental cleaning. Naturally, she used her attention to detail and expertise to evolve her business accommodating the vacation rental market and taking on the management of vacation rentals and AirB&B’s.

Her company looks after cleaning, staging, organizing, managing the bookings for the rentals, shopping, capturing images of the property and managing its social presence. (How she manages to do all this for multiple properties plus find time to explore the island’s beauty with her husky pup astounds me :D)

Rachel said, her favourite thing about her business is the ability to host such a diverse and growing clientele. Listening and receiving all the fantastic feedback and notes from the visitors, and hear about their amazing experiences while staying in any of the property’s she manages.

She goes above and beyond to ensure that every visitor has an unforgettable experience. Providing extra bedding, using eco-friendly cleaning products, laundry detergent and soaps at a wholesale price are just some of the ways she ensures her clientele have an incredible stay. Furthermore, Rachel loves to provide referrals to local restaurants, shopping experiences and adventures as often as she can. She believes it’s a great way to support our local community and help visitors plan an unforgettable vacation.
With Rachel’s vision to provide a home away from home experience, her clientele can feel natural, and comfortable all while soaking in what the city has to offer. This vision shows how much she understands and values her guests and it comes from a long list of experience.
At the moment her business is managing properties from the tip of Sidney all the way to Jordan River, the plan is to include the whole Island as her company expands.
