A green roof, for example, does not just look amazing, it also slows down rainwater (which we all know we get plenty off here on the island and it can become a genuine issue in some neighbourhoods) it also insulates your home and it prolongs the life of your roof.
You can also add plants, which will help create more oxygen and further reduce your carbon footprint. Or that sustainable irrigation systems collect rainwater and will water your plants for you. Just think about how many hours of time this could save you and don’t even get us started on how much you could save on your hydro bills!
